Summer 2019 Coastal Broadway Collaborative Summer Intensive Classes

During the three-week period, participants will be immersed in the three major disciplines of musical theater: acting, voice, and dance, and their many variations. In addition to these individual disciplines, participants will have practical instruction in a variety of subjects to help prepare them for a career in the arts, as well as opportunities for discussion with professional artists about the mental preparedness, emotional health, and physical fitness necessary to become a well rounded musical theater artist. CBC’s goal is to give young artists a multitude of tools, techniques, and methods with which to further develop their artistic abilities as they embark on the never-ending journey of personal growth and collaboration intrinsic to a life in the theater.

Participants will attend daily core classes and rehearsals as well as a variety of master classes throughout the intensive. All classes are taught by working industry professionals and visiting artists. The three weeks of classes and rehearsals will culminate in a final performance to showcase the participants’ efforts and abilities.
